“Alphabet’s for the Aging”
Use them and tell us a story
Photo of mine, Fairhope, Alabama
Go through the Alphabet with words or stories of
Encouragement, strength, witty or yet and I think most important, Recall a memory.
Y’all come up with some.
Remember ways you use to try to explain yourself.
Or the first word that pops to your mind.
Let’s keep this blooming and pass the plate here.
I think we are all hungry and ready to grow.
It will be fun: examples below:
A = ain’t so
B = better get in this house
C = cause I said so
D = dare you, dipstick
E = easy biscuits. Ef you don’t stop that
N= neekenpoot. Did y’all use this one? I giggle typing this one, we use to call each other this when we would get mad at each other. Or you know, picking at each other. Running through the house, hollowing……You are a neekenpoot, You are a neekenpoot; Hey, I’m gonna tell Mama you called me a neekenpoot. I ain’t no neekenpoot, you are!
P = phone ringing, I didn’t hear it, phone ringing, answer it, no it’s not my turn. We would be on the porch talking to each other or outside playing. We never let a phone ringing interrupt us.
We never let a phone come before a person.
R = right as rain
W =Whimper-snapper
Thanks for reading and seeing fun.

I love the picture of Fairhope. Can you tell us if that is down by the pier?
